1. What personal information do we ask for?

In the forms on our website (contact, comments, quote request, newsletter subscription, etc.) we ask for your name, email address and/or telephone number. We automatically record the IP address from which the form is sent, for legal purposes if necessary.

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) or ‘required’ are mandatory. If they are not completed (e.g. email or telephone), we will not be able to respond to your request and the form will not be sent.

2. Where do we ask you for personal information?

We ask you for personal information such as your name and email address in:

  • Contact forms.
  • Comments section of the blog.
  • Quote request forms.
  • Newsletter subscription forms.

3. What is the legal basis for processing the data?

We process your personal data on the following legal grounds:

We also have forms to exercise your rights, which you can request by e-mail or using the forms provided by the Spanish Data Protection Agency or other bodies. These forms must be signed electronically or accompanied by a photocopy of your ID card. If you are acting on behalf of another person, you must attach a copy of that person’s DNI or duly accredit your representation.

The forms may be submitted in person, by post or by e-mail to the responsible person’s address given at the beginning of this document.

6. How long do we store your data?

You may access your data and request its rectification or deletion at any time. However, in general, the retention periods are as follows:

  • Customer data:
    The retention period will vary depending on the service contracted and will be for the minimum period necessary and may be up to a maximum period:
    • 4 years: In accordance with the Law on Offences and Penalties in the Social Order and Art. 66 et seq. of the General Tax Code.
    • 5 years: Pursuant to art. 1964 of the Civil Code.
    • 6 years: Pursuant to art. 30 of the Commercial Code.
    • 10 years: Pursuant to art. 25 of the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
  • Subscriber data:
    Retained from the time of subscription until the user requests to unsubscribe.
  • Prospective customer data:
    Retained for the duration of the business relationship and for two years after it has ended, unless a request for earlier deletion is made.
  • Comments on the blog:
    They will be kept for as long as the article or blog post is published.

7. Notification and declaration of breaches

Media Talent S.L. takes security measures appropriate to the level of risk to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into account the risks inherent in the processing of data.
In the event of a security breach, exposure or improper acquisition of your data, mediatalent will notify you immediately.

8. To whom will your data be communicated?

In order to provide the services necessary for the development of our activity, mediatalent may share your data with third parties, always under appropriate privacy conditions. These include:

  • External service providers:
    (E.g. payment processing, order management, analysis, marketing campaign management, hosting, email distribution, etc.) who act on behalf of mediatalent.
  • Development and maintenance companies:
    Who occasionally access the website and who are contractually bound to maintain the same level of privacy as that applied to this processing.

9. Segmentation and Profiling

The personal information you provide when registering, contacting or interacting with our site, including information about your browsing habits derived from cookies, may be used to segment and categorise information.
